The event was also attended by representatives from UNICRI, one of the seven Institutes of Applied Research of the United Nations. Through its Security Governance/Counter-Terrorism Laboratory based in Lisbon, UNICRI leads the activities of the Counter-Terrorism Implementation Task Force (CTITF), on the Protection of Vulnerable Targets.
